Eddie Huang and his family, are originally from Taiwan but they moved to the US when he was still a child. The Huang Family had a hard time getting used to the new lifestyle ,struggling to pay the bills and had to learn everything the hard way. Eddie spent most of his life in Washington, D.C. However, everything changes when his family moves to Orlando in hopes for a better life. His family wants to open a unique restaurant with a cowboy flair style. The subsequent culture clash is inevitable. Will Eddie’s family stay true to their dream and pursue opening their restaurant or will they fail to do so under the pressure of the public?
