The whole city is getting ready to celebrate Christmas. Residents scurry busily through the streets, choosing gifts for their loved ones. Everyone is waiting for a miracle and smiles never leave their faces. Only one person does not share the universal joy. This is Ebenezer Scrooge, a sullen and unsociable old man. He shuns people and does not understand why spend money on gifts and a festive table. All his life Scrooge does nothing but saves money, trembling over every penny. But one day, he has to change dramatically. Wandering down the street, Ebenezer meets the spirit of his long-dead companion Jacob. He was during his lifetime the same curmudgeon as Scrooge, for which he was punished by heaven. Now he has come to earth to reason with Ebenezer and show him that he is living wrong.
