The movie “Berlin Syndrome” is a film adaptation of the same book by Melanie Justine, created for connoisseurs of serious films. Young, captivating with photography, an Australian Clare comes alone to the capital of Germany to find herself and get acquainted with the architecture of the DDR era. There she meets an interesting and highly charismatic stranger Andy, school English teacher at a sports school. Between them there is mutual sympathy and attraction, which grows into a passionate night with a non-binding novel. The next day, the girl discovers that a lover who went to work accidentally locked her in the apartment. However, an accidental mistake is far from being accidental and the young teacher is not going to let her go.
