The plot focuses on the legendary comedian Deborah Vance. Over the years, she has worked tirelessly to make her way into show business. She wants to be the funniest woman in the country. Now the main character lives in Las Vegas, gives rare concerts and is worried about her fading fame. In the course of the development of the plot, the comedian decides to help the aspiring author – she sees in her a young version of herself. The girl learns many tricks with which Deborah managed to become a star.
