Rob is an overgrown hermit who has lived in the Oregon wilderness for many years. He communicates only with a pig, his only friend. For days, they look for mushrooms and bask in the warm stove. The pig is specially trained to find truffles, which Rob sells to a passing customer, Amir. But unknown people attack Rob and take the pig. Now the hermit needs to remember social skills to travel to the stolen one. This long journey will reveal the secrets of the two pilgrims.
