The series takes us into New York hundred years before. The city is full of crime and lives according to the rules of lawlessness. Chaos reigns on the streets, and every small and bigger business is ruled by the criminal authorities. Despite all the effort of local policemen, criminals keep playing their dirty game and taking control of the city. It creates a strong desire for fake freedom, kind of the multiple ways to escape from the fears and danger. Utter debauchery is consists of sexual freedom and the growth of the pornography popularity. From the other hand, the city have never seen this much freedom of speech, that brings to the uprising of the television and a new and fresh breath at the cinematograph. The story shows the lives of the people trying to find the peace in the middle of the chaos, forced to look for the solutions for surviving and expressing themselves in a very unfriendly environment.
